I am a licensed physical therapist in the state of North Carolina and owner/founder of Align Pediatric Therapy. I received my doctorate in physical therapy in 2019 from Methodist University and a BA in Exercise in Sports Science from UNC Chapel Hill in 2016. I have worked in pediatrics since beginning my career in 2019 and have had the opportunity to work alongside orthopedic surgeons, biomechanics, occupational therapists, speech therapists and more in outpatient therapy, private practice, and hospital settings. I have also served as a lab assistant for a pediatrics course in the DPT program at Methodist University. I received the Level 1 certification for Physiotherapy Scoliosis Specific Exercise (Schroth therapy) in 2023.

I started Align in 2026 after the massive changes insurance companies underwent in 2024 and 2025 that gutted therapy reimbursement rates and caused an increase in number of patients treated, copays, and frequent denials for services. I fully believe our patients and our therapists deserve better! At Align Pediatric Therapy, we are committed to low patient caseloads, one-on-one care, and individualized treatment plans determined by the experts—the therapists— not the insurance companies.

I enjoy treating all ages birth to 21 and have extensive experience with treating developmental delays, torticollis, toe walking, and scoliosis (among many more).

Outside of treatment, I love to golf, read, needlepoint, explore Raleigh & Durham, and spent time with my husband, Michael, and my daughter, Lainey.
